Thunderbird 45.x.x is not sync'ing with Comcast IMAP Inbox

IMAP Inbox on Comcast server side is not sync'ing down to the client (Thunderbird 45.x.x).  Started 2/18/17 after 1230pm EST.  Comcast IMAP server is not responding or completing commands sent by Thunderbird.  Example:  delete message.  Delete command deletes message on client but message does not delete on IMAP server.  A couple of seconds later, the "deleted" message will reappear in the client INBOX because IMAP server rejected the command.  


Message count (read/unread) on client remains at 10107 but message count on the IMAP server is 10182 at the time of this posting.  Messages are being received correctly by Comcast and can be acted upon from the web client but not the local client.


No other of my Comcast email accounts are affected, this issue is specific to this one email account.  The specific account has been deleted three different times on the client side and then added back but with no change.


There is CR ticket outstanding on this but thought I would see what the community was experiencing.
