Since Dec 2 my incoming emails show they have been read already on all devices. home computer, table, and phone

Why would this be happening? Can someone please respond to this post. It also seems I am not getting as many emails as I usually do

Please help

An experiment-----------disable the account on all the devices, including the pc if you're using a desktop client like Outlook or Thunderbird.  Once that's done, sign into the account using only a browser, then send yourself an email from some non-Comcast account you may have like Yahoo or Gmail.  When the email arrives in the Comcast Inbox, does it show as unread?
