Server Unreachable

Server Unreachable

While attempting to send a emails, I continue to get this orange box that crawls up from the bottom of my screen with the message server unreachable. I no longer have a comcast account because they do not service the area I moved to. Shortly after I cancelled my comcast account, they sent me an email saying I could keep using my email address. This was great news because it is the one I use most often.

 

Unfortunately, when I call comcast to assist with this issue, I'm told that since I no longer have a paying account with them they cannot help. Is there anyone who has had this problem and can advise why this is happening? Thank you

This is the first I'm seeing anyone with this issue.  You may have been given bad information.  You are supposed to be able to keep using the email.  So I'm escalating this to the forum admins for follow-up.

Hi Id59 -- I can look at your email account to see if I can find what's causing this issue. I located your previous account and found two email addresses on it. Are you having this problem with both or just one? If it's just one, can you send that address to me in a PM please?
