Sent emails are not being saved. Preferences and email deletion schedule is set properly

Sent emails are not being saved. Preferences and email deletion schedule is set properly

This occurs in Xfinity connect and Outlook 2013. For over a year this has been happening. Sent emails are not saved - deletion schedule sent to Never delete; save a copy of Sent is  selected.

 

Also, deleted emails are deleted immediatly even though selection is not to that.

 

Advise please.
