Why is my email hanging up when I send an email or respond to an email.  It doesn't send then a message comes up my server has timed out

I believe Comcast is aware of the issue. Try sending a test email from your Comcast address to another email address that you have (like Hotmail or Gmail, etc). You should still receive the email. It seems like the email actually gets sent, but your email client just doesn't get the confirmation from the server, and your Sent folder doesn't get updated.
