Will moving emails to spam stop them from sending more emails or do you need to unsubscribe also?

Re: SPAM

Spam filters work by people "training" them as to what is or is not spam.  The more people mark something as spam, the more likely it will be caught by the filters.  So it could take a while for you to keep marking something as junk before it stops.  Spam is cyclical as a rule.  All of a sudden you may get a lot of it, and other times not.  Only use Unsubscribe from legitimate senders you have communicated with before.  Don't use it in a junk email, as it will almost certainly lead to more spam.  When you click on that link, it tells the spammer that your address is good.
