SPAM

I continue to receive spam and there is no way in the email to unsubscribe.  I use Gmail and Outlook and they are proficient in identifying questionable items.  I have been unable to find this feature in comcast/xfiniity email.  I have therefore practically abandoned your email service.  What is a sane person to do???????????????????

I will assume I will receive an email if someone replys.  Otherwise I wouldn't know how to return to this forum to learn the answer, if any.

thanks,

Re: SPAM

I have noticed a definite increase in the number of spam messages getting through the filters these past few days. My spam filter is already turned on but, nevertheless, more is getting through. Hopefully Comcast/Xfinity will catch up with it and shut it down.

Re: SPAM

Spam is a game of whack-a-mole and is never ending.  You will find this article pertinent.  Spam is nothing peculiar to Comcast-----------------

Re: SPAM

I certainly understand that. Usually Comcast/Xfinity is very good about keeping it under control. I was just pointing out that more than usual has been getting through the filters the past few days. Thanks!

Re: SPAM

My spam filtering IS AND HAS BEEN SET UP SINCE DAY ONE.  I was in a chat with one of their experts and he could not help.  He advised me to call CSA (a comcast/xfinity outfit) that looks into this matter in a more detailed manner.  I called their number 888 565 4329 available M-F 8-5.

Would you believe I held on for 38 minutes listening the their 'your call is important to us' yet no one came on the line to discuss the matter.  While I was holding, I read my other mail and news of the day.  This outfit is a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!
