SMTP asking for password (Windows 7, Outlook 2010). Auto test indicates cannot commo with server.

Just started today. Email status indicates that sending was successful, Then I get a pop up, indicating that Comcast needs my email password. It has been years since I set this up, so I have no idea what the password is. However, I have a check in the setup "Remember password" box and the password in the pop up has the appropriate numer of asterisks autofilled. So, I press ok and I get another pop up indicating password is incorrect. Now what? How do I get or reset a new password.?
