I purchased a ROKU2 XS last week. I can not connect the HDMI output from Roku directly to my HDTV because of lack of DHMI input into the TV.  Any suggestions as to how I can get this done

You would use the included AV cable. There is a small plug that goes into the back of the Roku, the yellow, red and white plugs go into your TV.

If your tv has a DVI input I think you can buy a HDMI TO DVI converter cable.
