Reverse good email addr from spam?

I accidentally put a good email address in my spam folder and deleted it it from spam. Now I can't receive emails from this address. Is there a way to remove this address from the spam filter so that I can again receive their emails? I did add the address into my mailbox as a first step. That didn't do the trick.

Typically, you'd click the Not Spam button in your webmail.  If you'd like, please send me a private message with more details about the sending email address, and we'll see if we can take a closer look

Just to add------Comcast doesn't scan your address book to see if an address is "safe".
