Recall a sent email

Does Xfinity email allow you to recall a sent message?

Re: Recall a sent email

Most Internet mail services do not support email recall. I doubt if Comcast does. It's usually restricted to corporate mail like Outlook/Exchange and Lotus/IBM Notes.

In a word------no.  Once you hit Send, it is out of your control.

Thanks so much - I figured it did not, but was hoping. I remember using it at work on Outlook.

Even with Outlook, there are conditions that have to be in place for that feature to work-------------------

Gmail kind of has a recall, but all it does really is delay the sending after you hit Send.  But you have to be lightning fast------like 10 or 20 seconds or something, to use it.  It also has to be enabled in the account settings in advance of you trying to use it.
