The amount of spam in my inbox has rendered it useless. I have gone through and unsubscribed to every link I follow. Image attached of current inbox. Any Spam filter should never let these types of messages through ... Screen Shot 2015-11-02 at 8.18.36 AM.png

Do you have the a Spam filter on?

Are you marking soam as spam then clicking on the Spam icon on the toolbar?



Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I too am getting too much spam in my Xfinity inbox and have for the past two years.  I religiously mark each unwanted email as spam and click the spam button yet every day I receive more unsolicited emails.  I have never used this account for outgoing email for fear it would generate more spam, but would like to.  For two years, my spam filter has been on but it seems to do nothing and the amount of spam has not lessened over time.  Is there some other setting I can adjust to improve this situation?

Same situation here-----not pleasant. Comcast is not really any helpful in blocking spam.
