Problems with new Comcast email settings and format

Ever since comcast changed the email format, I've had nothing but trouble.  For example, today, one 2 separate occasions, I began emailing a reply to an email I received.  In the middle of my reply, my message disappeared and the one I was responding to also disappeared.

 

My sent files/draft files/ and trash do not show on the left side of the screen.  How do I get them back?

 

I also type in the name of someone in my email address book, and it can't be found.  

 

I wish we had the old format.  I never had troubles with that one.

 

Any suggestions to make this work now?

I'm not sure about the other things you mentioned.  I have not had any issue with names in the address book not showing up if I start typing them in the To: field.

I finally was able to get it solved!  I talked to 3 different Comcast employess, the last being a Level 3 expert.  He had me clear the cache, browsing history, etc. and it worked great after that!
