Problem with retrieving email

Here we go, once again. This happened a few months back not being able to get my email, then finally remedied. Now it's happening again. I can log into my comcast account but when I click on email I get an error message? Why does this continue to happen?

To Latoque - this is another person having the same problem since 1 p.m. yesterday in Chicago. I get a variety of error messages including - it can't connect to the internet (which I am, of course, already on in order to access the server); it cannot authenitcate me due to a recently changed password (last time I changed it was last April); but more often it just tells me there was an error and a number, frequently #502. Any thoughts would be appreciated, as I have clients I communicate with daily through email - well, daily except for yesterday and today.

For both of you------I can't look at your accounts.  This is something going on either with your accounts or a server.  So I'm escalating it to the forum administrator to see if they can look at it.

Thank you for your help Latoque - I appreciate any help you're able to mobilize!

 

PS - after reading many other posts from yesterday, it appears we're not the only ones having this problem after the revised mail app launch.

Cannot connect to my comcast email.  No problem accessing the internet, but when i try to access comcast.net it is very slow, arives at the login page, then when I enter my username and password it just hangs.  Rather frustrating since this has been the case for 5 days now.

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way.

Hello All -- Do these errors occur on all browsers or select browsers? Has anyone tried accessing email on a Mobile device via Connect App?
