Possible spam or authentic Xfinity/Comcast. email msg?

Possible spam or authentic Xfinity/Comcast. email msg?

I received a msg supposedly from xfinity regarding my email account. I believe it to be spam. I'd like to forward it to an Xfinity/Comcast support for verification. I'm unable to locate any appropriate email address. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

From the ConstantGuard Website.:

Report phishing email sent to or from a Comcast.net email account

Once you have copied the full message headers from the spam message, paste the header and the message into an email and send it to abuse@comcast.net with the subject line "Phishing email." We encourage you to download the XFINITY toolbar which contains anti-phishing technology to help you avoid phishing attacks in the future.

Please read this Comcast Email Phish or Legit? How to Tell (and rules for posting about your mail) clickable link.

It contains very useful information about mail that purports to be from Comcast.

By the time you get through reading it YOU will be an expert on HOW to know that the mail is a phishing attempt.
