Outlook having problems....

Outlook having problems....

My outlook is having problems connecting sending and recieving, I've tried every port it says to and still not working. I've also tried changing the SSL on outgoing to TLS.  I can get my mail on my phone no problem, just on outlook it isn't working for comcast. It's working for my gmail no problem.

The problems come back as:

Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP): A secure connection to the server cannot be established.

Send test email message: our server does not suppoert the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello cwolfe, it sounds like Outlook is having trouble reading your credentials. This can be resolved by completely signing out of the mail client and the signing back in. Also please check your account online at our website www.comcast.com and click on email. If you get email here the issue is definitely with Outlook and again login back in will resolve the problem.
