My Outlook email stopped working on 2/23 and is still not working. I have talked to several Comcast representatives who have given me different advice and instructed me to change my email settings. Some suggested a POP configuration, and others suggested IMAP.

 

All said the problem appears to result from Comcast changing the email system.

 

I have upgraded to Outlook 2016, but I still cannot connect.

 

Can anyone give me specific instructions on how to connect Outlook 2016 to Comcast email on an iMac using OS X El Capitan (version 10.11.6)? I have used Outlook for years without a problem, and want to continue doing so. I do not want to use Comcast email. Thank you.
