Outlook Express Issue - Messages deleted from Server not deleted from Outlook Express

When I delete an email message from the comcast server from my iPad, how do I get the message to automatically delete from Outlook Express 6.0 on my desktop PC.  I don't want to have to double-delete everything from both sources.

My PC is running WinXP SP3.

Both the iPad and the email client---Outlook Express------need to be set up using IMAP to do what you want.  However, consider using a more up to date client on the computer like Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail.  Outlook Express is way outdated, and no longer supported by Microsoft.  The Comcast settings for IMAP are here--------------------

Thanks much for the information.  I will look into a more up-to-date Email client.  Thanks again.
