No Contacts in "To" Window

No Contacts in "To" Window

I have many contacts in my address book. (I imported most--if that matters which I doubt.) When I compose a new mail and click the "To" button the window is empty--no contacts are listed. If I  type in addresses the "To" window shows those on the right and I can remove them. Why are no contacts showing in my "To" window?

Re: No Contacts in "To" Window

Try having the address book re-synced. You need to send an email to helpme@sv.comcast.com In the subject line put "Need Slow Sync of Address Book". In the body of the message describe the problem, and make sure you include the email address with the problem. It can take up to 24 hours for the re-sync to work.

The address book is actually supplied by a company called Plaxo. There are separate copies in the Full and Lite versions of Xfinity Connect, and they are supposed to be synced with each other. Once in a while they can get out of sync and it will cause these kinds of problems.

Re: No Contacts in "To" Window

Thank you. Can you tell the difference between the Full and lite versions and how to access both. (I suspect I've been using Full.) I read about lite when searching for importing contacts and I'd like to see that version.

Thanks for your response.

Found the Lite version. Will send that email and see. Thanks.

Re: No Contacts in "To" Window

The differences between Full and Lite versions:

You can perform many of the same tasks in the Lite version as in the Full version; however, the following features are not currently supported in the Lite version:

Right-clicking on items to produce menus.
Drag and drop functionality.
Mouse-over help functions.
Information about the size of particular folders.
The ability to hide the ad on the right side of the window.

You can also access the mobile version by typing m.comcast.net/m into your browser's address bar while signed into your account.
