New comcast customers sending email notices of new address

This is not a question but just feedback. I work somewhere where we send automated email notifications to customers. Just lately we have been getting useless auto-replies from comcast customers. The text of the email is:

 

I wanted to let you know that I have changed email account to Comcast Xfinity, effective immediately. I'm contacting your from my new email address, please update your address books accordingly.

 

They are all identical so I'm assuming this is some kind of service of Comcast. I hope you know this type of auto-reply is USELESS. The person's name is not there. The person's former email address is not there. Consequently we have NO WAY to know who this is and update their address.

 

So, nice try but a big fail.

I'm going to escalate this to the forum admins so they can look into it.  This is the first I'm hearing about this.

Hi Anon688189 -- Thanks for the alert about these emails. We have a team who's interested in seeing what you're getting back. Are you able to provide a screen shot of an auto-reply you've gotten back?
