New Password Checklist

New Password Checklist

This week, for the first time since having comcast email (years), I was unable to access my email account via both Outlook & my phone.  I resorted to accessing it via Comast.net.  I was notified that someone had gotten into my account (hacked it?) and I needed a new password.  They had a checklist of things for me to do, two of which I did and found nothing suspicious.  I tried to save the checklist so I could refer back to it and was unable to save it and now I'm trying to locate it.

In addition, my email is acting funny.  I sent myself three emails from my phone tonight and they never came through, which makes me nervous about what's going on with my account.

Has anyone else had this issue?  If you have, do you know how to get my email back to running smoothly?  Do you know what checklist I'm referring to and where I might be able to find it?  I can rarely locate what I need on these websites and end up more frustrated than when I started.

Thank you!!

Re: New Password Checklist

Just to be safe, I would go ahead and change the password and security question. Disable the account in Outlook and on the phone. Then using only the webmail UI, send yourself an email from a non-Comcast account you might have like Yahoo or Gmail or something.  Does it work OK then?
