Where can I find the directions for use of this new Apple computer, that I just received formy birthday?  I am new to the computer world

The best thing I'd suggest is to take a class or two from Apple.  I hear their "Mac Basics" workshop is pretty good. I'll PM you some details.

I'd also look at the Apple support rather than asking Comcast.
