Macmail with comcast as outgoing server sending to gmails are bouncing back

Macmail with comcast as outgoing server sending to gmails are bouncing back

I have been using macmail with stmp.comcast.net as my outgoing server successfully for many months

starting 8/6/16 emails I send to gmail addresses (and one other non gmail) are coming back with this message.  Any suggestions?  thanks.  I will also try calling comcast.

Is that a typo in the post, or is that how you have the smtp server listed in Mac Mail?

I noticed the typo also, apologies  it is configured smtp.comcast.net

Question -----------does the email go through OK if you just use the webmail UI and not Mail?  Also, this aplies to Yosemite but may apply to other version of OS X too-------------
