Just lost all my emails from my Thunderbird inbox. How can I get them back?

Do you have the account enabled on a mobile device using POP3?  If so it may be downloading the messages and then deleting them from the server.  That would explain why they are no longer in Thunderbird.  If this is the case, you need to go into the settings on the device and set it to leave a copy on the server.
