Lost Email messages

I have lost a number of Email messages from today, March 25.  I saw them in passing to other messages, and now I can't find them.  Is there any way to recover an earlier version of my Email  Inbox?

Have you looked in the Deleted Mail Folder or the Junk Mail folder?

I am having the sme problem.  This started about a week ago.  I have looked in my deleted and spam folders and cannot find all of my emails.  

 

After I read an email, it is automatically deleted unless I save it to a folder immediately.  As I said this just started to happen about a week ago.  Any ideas on why?
