I just did a test. I sent mail from my Gmail account to accounts I have on Yahoo (att.net, which Yahoo handles), Outlook, and Comcast. The Yahoo and Outlook accounts received their copies within seconds, as soon as I could check them. The Comcast account took nearly an hour (11:33AM CDT to 12:21PM CDT)! I also tried from the Yahoo to Comcast, also slow. The only one that went fast was sending from Comcast to the same Comcast account.
What is going on? Why is it taking so long to process incoming email? Looking at the headers (included below), the hangup is the handoff between mail-it0-x231.google.com and resimta-po-06v.sys.comcast.net. Note the timestamps.

I finally got the mail I sent as a test from the Yahoo/AT&T account. It took almost 2 hours 15 minutes!!!

Having the same problems here in New Hampshire. One of our comcast emails is not recieving or sending mail for up to 5-6 hours. Test email sent from account at 9:30 AM was recieved at 1:59 PM. Test email sent to account also took hours. We use these email addresses for business. This it totally unacceptable.
Same issue here. This has been going on for weeks.
Emails that are routed through comcast servers are taking hours or longer to be delivered when they are nearly instantly received via gmail or yahoo.

Lately, it hasn't been much of an issue as far as I can tell. it just seemed to be an issue for awhile. That said, I have mainly returned to my att.net address as primary.
Put my name on the list of people who have seen this issue for a long time. It will often times take several hours to receive an email. Other times I'll receive a newer email in a thread before an older one. Example, email1 sent at 9am is received at 11am. Email2 (same email thread) sent at 9:30am is received at 9:35am (acceptable). This happens on 2 different laptops, a cell phone, and multiple networks (home, work, cellular, etc).
