Log out of Xfinity connect on exit on iphone

Trying to make. Xfinity Connect log out when I close email window on iPhone 8. Went into settings and login preference and checked logout on exit. On iPhone I click center lower button and it closes window. But I can then click on screen icon for Xfinity and it opens up my inbox without password. Thanks

Re: Log out of Xfinity connect on exit on iphone

Hi @rickluc1

I was able to duplicate the issue using a iPhone 8 and had to enter my password information. Can you please try following the steps below:

  1. From the "Settings" screen inside the Connect app, scroll all the way down and click on "Logout",
  2. "Double Tap" the "Home" (center lower) button. This should bring up all of the apps that are running in the background.
  3. Swipe up on the Connect app to force it closed. This will allow the app to refresh and update in the background because only pressing the Home button allows the app to continue running in the background.
  4. Click on the Connect app from the home screen to confirm you must re-enter your password.

Let me know if this helps.
