Invalid Addressees in Email Group

I am trying to send an email using a formerly used, well established group from my address book.  When hitting Send, I get a popup that says many, if not all, of the addressees are invalid.  The email is then autosaved into the drafts folder.  What's going on?

Exact same problem.  Chat support are idiots, No help.
