Are you using the Mail app that comes on the iPad? If so, tap the email icon on the home page, then on the Mailboxes page scroll down to Accounts, then tap the actual account and you should see the Drafts folder.
OK I'm looking at my iPhone-----it's iOS, it should be the same.
I have it in my gmail account but there is no draft option for xfinity. Is there something in settings that I need change?
I have to ask------do you have the Comcast account set up on the iPad using POP3 or IMAP? I'm using IMAP on the iPhone.
I have no idea. I have never heard of POP. How would I know? How do I set it up? My iPad is about 3 and 1/2 years old if that helps.
Yes that tells me a lot. 3 1/2 years ago POP3 was still the default protocol for Comcast email accounts. It has since changed to IMAP. So do this------go into your iOS settings, and delete the account from the iPad. Then go back in and re-create it from scratch. After you enter your user ID and password, iOS should auto-configure the account using IMAP, and then you should see the Drafts folder as I described upthread. iOS will now detect Comcast accounts as being IMAP compliant by default.
That worked! Thank you so much.
i have one more unrelated question. I keep getting the notification to update iOS 9.3.1. I have heard a lot of negative talk about what happens when you, like not being able to access contacts, some apps, etc. is it safe to install the update?
I finally did the update on my iPhone 4s, and I didn't lose anything. I haven't had any problems with it since. The only reason I did the upload is because I got tired of being prompted to do so every day. They really are persistent. Annoyingly so sometimes. That said, my use of the phone is fairly limited to voice calls and the occasional text message. I don't do much with apps, or on the internet with it.
