How to save Comcast emails within folders to a usb jump drive or other back up

I want to back up my Comcast emails already within folders to another source. I don't see functionality for that available.

With a webmail program like Comcast, you need to enable the account in an email client program like Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail or some other.  Then you have the messages on your computer and a back-up drive if you're using one.  I use Mac Mail since I'm on an iMac, and it backs up to an external hard drive, which is the best way to go.

There is no easy way to back up any webmail program just as is; you need the client.
