How do I stop Comcast's service-related emails?

How do I stop Comcast's service-related emails?

I continue to get two emails from Comcast each time they send out one of their "service-related" emails.  I get one copy to my current email address, and one copy to my old email address.  My old email address has been removed from the My Account section but I keep getting their service-related emails so I know my old email address is just sitting in their email database.  Since my old email address does not show up in My Account, there is no way for me to remove it!  I've already unsubscribed that email address from the Marketing Preferences and that doesn't help...I knew it wouldn't because the emails that I get two of say right at the bottom of the message...This is a service-related email. Comcast will occasionally send you service-related emails to inform you of service upgrades or new benefits.

Is there any way to remove my email address from Comcast's service-related emails when the email is no longer associated with the account?

Thanks!

No way, unfortunately.  Comcast reserves the right to send you "service related" advertisements.  I have three email addresses.  Get them in all three.  *sigh*

You do have some control.  Sign into the account in question, then click on "My Account" and sign in again.  On the landing page, look to the right under Common Solutions and you will see "Manage your Alerts".  Click on that and on the next page look down to "Marketing and Special Offers".  Click on that and on the next page input the Comcast email address.  You can then click on either "Manage Preferences" or the small blue unsubscribe link.
