Open Smartzone and click on Preferences, then click on Address book on the left side. A window will open to Export/Import the address book. Under EXPORT, you should see Comcast Contacts in the drop down, click on export. A new window opens, choose Contacts, then click on export. A window will open asking if you want to open or save the fle. Choose to save it. Save the csv file somewhere you can locate it easily.

Thank you so much CCCarole for the extremely helpful hyperlink!! I had a hard time finding the proper procedures fpr importing contacts to gmail. The link took me to the perfect page with instructions that made sense. What I was trying to do for about an hour took only a couple minutes.
