How To Send Email To Contact Group

I have a Contact Group setup in Comcast email and would like to send a email to the group rather than sending individual messages.

I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do it. Would appreciate your help in what steps to follow.

Thank you very much.

Jim

Assuming the contact group is already there (there can be a time delay between when you create it and when it shows up when composing a new message), do this:

  1. In Xfinity Connect, compose a New message.
  2. Press the TO: or CC: (or BCC:) button to the left of the address fields.
  3. Up will pop the Select Addresses dialog.
  4. Select the target contact group from the list on the left.
  5. Press the TO or CC or BCC button to add that group to the To, CC, or BCC fields, it will show up on the right side list.
  6. Press OK.

Your message should now have the group contact populated in the message's correct address field.

Sounds like one of the addresses in the group is invalid.  Check for misspellings, etc.  This usually means the user's domain name (ie. the part after the @ sign) is incorrect somehow.

This does not apply to the mobile apps, right. There is no selecting To: from the iPad.
