Frequently e-mailed contacts going into Spam

Hello, I own Mac and I use the default mail client, and the contacts that I have e-mailed in the past and e-mail frequently their responses are ending up in my Spam folder.  I have tried switching over to Comcast's web-based e-mail client, marking those contact's responses as Not Spam and also adding their names and e-mails to my Comcast Address Book, but these steps are not working.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!
