Forwarding Problem

I wanted to forward my Comcast e-mail to another account, but I typed in a bad address (gmal instead of gmail) - I did not set the system to keep a copy of the forwarded e-mail.  The problem is that the mail that came in after I made the error and before I corrected it was forwarded.  Given the error in the forwarding address I assume I should have gotten an error message or that the e-mail would not have been forwarded.  However, none of the e-mail that was forwarded shows up in my Comcast account and there are no error messages.  Any ideas about how I can find the missing messages?

The reason you can't see them in the Comcast account is because  you had auto-forwarding set to not keep a copy.  I would think that you should have gotten a bounce message with the bad domain going out, but there may be some reason you didn't.
