Error message logging in to secondary account

Error message logging in to secondary account

I keep getting error messages when I'm retrieving messages from a secondary account using my main account or from my iphone. I can get my messages perfectly when I log into the account through the proper channels.

 

"External Account Failure, Retrieving messages for the following external account has failed". "Failure unable to connect to POP3 server"

 

I've tried changing passwords, I've verified the information under account preferences matches my other two accounts. I'm not sure what I need to do to remedy this issue.
