Error code (0x800408FC) need help!

Error code (0x800408FC) need help!

I am receiving a reportered error (0x800408FC) the server name you entered cannot be found on the network (it might be down temporarily). Verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.

 

I am not unable to connect to the server to receive e-mails. Please help!

It seems that it is having trouble finding the e-mail server and saying to verifiy the server information in your account settings.

 

I tried using nslookup mail.comcast.net but its saying "Unknown can't find mail.comcast.net: No response from server.

 

I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2010 by the way.

No. This problem started after my computer did some updates for Microsoft Outlook 2 days ago and I tried uninstalling all the updates that it did but it was to no avail. Anyone think a system restore would help? Although even that I was unable to complete because of an error.
