Emails set to automatically delete

Before the radical changes to COmcast email several months ago, I had set me preferences to that my inbox only retained 100 emails at any one time - the rest deleating automatically. SInce the changes, I have lost the understanding of how to set this preference again. Can anyone help?

The new email format does not have the ability to set deletion schedules in any folders.  The Trash folder defaults to 7 days, and the Spam is set to 30.  You cannot alter them.  If you want better control of any folder for deletions you would need to enable the account in a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, etc.
