Emails being deleted prior to deletion date

I will try this question again, thinking I did not make my question understandable:

 

I have set my deletion schedule for 60 days.  In less than 30 days I have had various emails deleted from my comcast email account.  My password is strong; not convinced that someone has hacked into my account.

 

Your thoughts and help are appreciated!!!

Do you have the account enabled on more than one computer or other device like a smartphone or a tablet?  If so, deletion schedules in the device mail app or email client will override the settings in Comcast preferences.  So the first thing is to check those other possible sources that might be downloading the messages and then deleting them from the server.
