My email moves from Inbox to Trash on its own within hours of being viewed. I have my preferences set to retain read and unread email for 30 days. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Do you have the account enabled on another device like a smartphone or tablet? If so, how do you have them set as far as email retention? Those settings will override the ones in the Comcast preferences.
Did you let the phone auto-configure the account for you after you put in your ID and password? If so, it would have used IMAP by default to configure it. In that case, there is no place you could tell it to delete or keep email. I'm thinking something else is going on, so I'm going to escalate this to the forum administrator level to get them to look at your account.
HI tsainta, I checked this for you on our end and I was unable to find any errors on our side. There is a chance that what Latoque said is the cause of the issue. Have you been able to check on your settings on the iPhone 4S? If the issue continues let me know, I might need to have this looked into by our tier 2 group. -FC
