Email question

My daughter rec'd an email from me today that said it came from me with a link but I did not send it. Does that mean someone has access to my email acct? If so, what doI need to do?

First, check your Sent folder to see if there is anything in there you know you didn't send.  If there is, your account has been compromised.  Change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and change the security question.  Then run a scan of your system with your A/V software to see if it finds anything.

 

If the Sent folder looks OK, then what has happened is that a spammer has likely "spoofed" your email address.  They can make emails look like they come from you even when they didn't.  If that is the case, all you can do is wait it out.  They will usually only use an address for a week or two and then move on to annoy someone else.  You should find this of interest--------------------
