Email not syncing

Email not syncing

My Windows Phone stopped syncing, after several years, last week.  I've deleted and readded the mailbox.  Error code 800004005.  I have connectivity and it should work.  Please help.

My iPhone stopped receiving email yesterday. Today support had me change the Incoming Mail Server from 'imap.comcast.net' to 'mail.comcast.net'.  Also change the incomng settings under 'Advanced' from server port 993 to 995. 

 

Apparently the IMAP server is down but setting up as a POP account will get your email coming again.  If you don't know how to do this chat or call comcast support and have them walk you through the changes.
