Frequently, when I check email, it shows the oldest email first, and goes down to the newest last. I checked on the "View" button to do just the opposite, namely showing the newest emails first, and descending down to the oldest emails. On it's own it will vascillate from one to the other. Very frustrating, and I'm sick of all the "National Enquirerish" garbage that comes up when I try to JUST GO TO MY EMAIL. Any ideas?
How are you accessing your email? Are you using just the Comcast webmail on a computer, or are you using a tablet or what? Are you using a desktop client like Outlook or something?
I open Firefox and go to Comcast and click on the email box in the upper right corner, using a desktop. I never use Outlook. I'm running XP.
I'm still not sure what you are clicking on, but if you are still on the old email format, righ-click on any message in the list and you will get a drop-down menu with all your sorting options, including date. It looks like this----------------------

That's just the Xfinity homepage. What happens when you click on the email envelope? I can't find anything like what you posted. Don't post any email address or user ID
Try just clicking on the word DATE. You might have to click on it twice to get the newest first.
