Email is only showing unread messages -

Email is only showing unread messages -

I keep both unread and read emails in my inbox - I checked my email yesterday and noticed that my inbox is only showing unread email back to June 17 - all email in my inbox prior to that date is no longer accessible in my inbox

I called comcast support - they indicated there was a problem but stated that the problem would be solved by 6 PM PDT June 23 - still not fixed 

There is no way to report this type of problem to comcast accept by phone and the help desk really does not seem to be able to resolve or respond 

Is this really a known problem and is comcast working on this problem
