Email bouncing back

I'm getting the following bounce messages.  I'm using the Comcast SMTP server to send mail, but the "from" is my hosted email address.  Does anyone know what the problem is?

The problem is that the server for the mac.com domain is temporarily refusing email from the Comcast server due to "Too many rejections". I can't say exactly what that means, but I'd guess that that Comcast server has been trying to send to too many invalid addresses there. It could be about spammers using the Comcast servers, or maybe they set their threshold a little low. I'd suggest:

give Customer Security Assurance a call at 1-888-565-4329 (M-F 9am-11:30pm ET, S-S 10:30am-6:30pm ET)

They might be able to get a handle on it.

Re: Email bouncing back

I'm currently having the same issue---only with Mac email users. This has been going on for me since last night.

Re: Email bouncing back

And if this isn't frustrating enough, I've been on hold with Customer Service for 31 min.  Really??

Re: Email bouncing back

Does anyone from Comcast have resolution for us? Trying to be patient but I've been trying to get through since last night, never got a callback that was scheduled, and my emails to Mac users are still bouncing back.

Re: Email bouncing back

I have the same issue - all from mac servers and going through my comcast cable service.  I checked on apple support forums, and there are long threads on this - all without any actual apple tech reply and unresolved.
