Assuming you are on the new email format, click on "Attachments" under the Subject field and you should be able to navigate to any file on your computer you want to. What happens when you try to attach a document file?
I am having the same issue in the APP for iPhone- only photos and camera are available
I'm curious-----what other kind of file on the phone are you trying to attach other than photos?
OK just what happens when you try to attach the documents? What kind are they and what app are they in?
I get the same thing in the XC mobile app. There is supposed to be a way to do it using iCloud, Google Drive etc. I can't get it to work for me, but maybe you will have better luck. This is using the Mail app on the phone-------------------
Latoque, thank you for taking time to include this info, and I'm sorry to hear that you seem to have the same issue with attachments from the mobile app. Both my iPhone & iPad have no trouble adding attachments to other email services & apps...the issue is only with Xfinity. When I use the Xfinity app to try and attach something, I get the same 'add or take photo' choice that the other user pasted in a reply. When I try to add a document to an email service via iOS, the Xfinity app comes up in the list as an option, but when I select it, the screen goes blank and nothing happens.
The only way I've been able to attach anything to Xfinity email is to enable that email account as a default email in iOS settings, which skips the Xfinity app altogether...but this means the Xfinity app is useless for basic email functions, and I don't really want Xfinity as a default email account in iOS anyway.
Sorry for the novella, but I'm hoping someone from Comcast is reading these posts and can fix this bug!
