Email: Password Not Recognized on New IMAP Account

Email: Password Not Recognized on New IMAP Account

Have used POP email for Comcast connection for years. Now we are interfacing with 5 other Apple devices.

Have set up a new IMAP account to handle the multiple devices. Used the same password that is on the POP account. Now we get error message saying the password is not recognized. 

Checking the validity of the password on the POP account and that works fine.

Help.....!!!!!

In iOS and OS X devices, you have to make sure you change the password in two places-------once for the incoming server, and again for the outgoing smtp server.  So you need to check each device and see if they are correct.
