My email is displaying alphabetically.  How do I get it to display from newest to oldest?

Click on the View icon on the toolbar.



Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I'm having the opposite problem.  My email is sorted by date and I want to sort it alphabetically.  The View icon only gives me the options to view it by message or by conversation.

Just found the answer in another post:  Assuming you are using the default Full version of Xfinity Connect, at the top of the message list in the Inbox page you should see "Sorted by" and then some value.  In the gray area to the right of that, just right-click and you will see various sort options including "by date".

Click on the word Date.  You may have to click on it twice to get the newest date at the top.
