How can I view e-mails that I received more than a month ago?

Yes, thanks; your answer has solved my problem quite well--as well as the range of options presented by xfinity seems to allow.

Are you saying they are not in your Inbox or some other folder?  Check your deletion schedules to see how they are set.  From the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>>>Email>>>>>>Email Deletion Schedules.  There you will see the options for how long to keep emails in the default folders.
