How can duplicate entries be deleted from my Inbox?

how many are you talking about?  If only a few, just use the checkboxes to the left of each one and then hit the Delete button in the toolbar.

There are gazillions!!

 

I tried Outlook 365 and foolishly took the IMAP option and it synched to the web email (DON'T US IMAP IF YOU ARE A FRESHMAN!!) which added the contents of my .pst file, thus creating many duplicate rcords.

 

Unisntalled Outlook 365 and re-installed "ole favovorite" Outlook 2003 which then downloaded EVERYTHING in my we-based [Inbox] creating many duplicate entries (because I keep copies of mails on the web-basd system to kep my history intact).

 

What I need is for Comast/Infinity gurus to strip duplicates from my Inbox and all other boxes...and I've spent quite a few hours just examining this issue for a workaround without success, so need H-E-L-P!!!
